Renewable energy procurement provides organisations with means to power their operations with carbon-free electricity and secure low-cost electricity consumption over a long-time period. And the global pandemic will not stop the momentum that has been gained. Just this month contracted capacity of corporate renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs) smashed through the 10 GW mark in Europe, up from just 2.2 GW by the end of 2016.
Corporate renewable PPAs are one method by which corporates can make a positive impact and are a key driver for market-based investments in renewable energy in Europe.
This event is the annual gathering of the corporate buyers and clean energy suppliers. It is a place where discussions of existing challenges take place and future solutions are born. It is a place where buyers meet suppliers and do business.
